I just want to say what an asset Elba Cox is to anyone who is contemplating buying or selling a home
Elba went the extra mile for me and got the house that I had originally wanted at the price I wanted to pay. She even got a few extras included, which i had hoped for, but didn't think would be possible.
After I purchased my home, Elba was still there to make sure that everything was going well and that any issues were covered by my new home warranty. She made a stressful situation an easy transition.

1) 1st transaction dealt with the sale of our residence in Hillsboro, OR due to work relocation for Scott. Elba had to deal not only with extra paperwork, due to the employer relocation requirements for the sale of our residence; she also had to deal with the difficult and non-cooperative personnel of the relocation service hired by the employer. We were very frustrated with the attitude and (lack of) service provided by the relocation service yet Elba was absolutely professional, helpful and went above and beyond in the face of this tribulation.
Elba was constantly upbeat and willing to follow up to move the transaction forward. She had great ideas to position the residence for sale during the period when real estate was going into a slump. Our residence sold in good time thanks to Elba’s savvy marketing and website outreach.
2) 2nd transaction dealt with purchase of land in metro Portland area. Elba was very helpful with searching for the type of land we were interested in. She was willing to see the land in person for us since we were unable to personally view the land (due to our move outside of Oregon). We had a successful outcome to this transaction due to Elba’s diligence and industriousness.

Laura E Marcano was the listing agent for both me and my wife's houses and represented us in the purchase of our new home as well. Laura did an outstanding job in all respects! She was always timely and thorough. Her understanding of the market place proved vast and she applied that knowledge directly in all of our transactions. This was an immeasurable aide in getting the best price for the houses we sold and a wonderful deal on the house we purchased. As with any home sale, there are many issues which arise from the smallest of concerns to what often appear to be insurmountable stumbling blocks. In these regards she demonstrated a consistent ability to not only resolve all concerns and issues, but rather improve both seller and buyers understanding of the transaction and thereby elevate the confidence of each in the process. She was always available for questions, showings, and willing to meet at a given notice to view and show houses and go over any details required. This dynamic gives her an edge over other agents who simply approach the process as a job or opportunity to make money.
