Elba I. Cox created EcoPro Realty Group a few years ago as an initiative to
address the changes in the Real Estate Industry, her enthusiastic care for the environment
and as a strategic result of the economic down turn after 2008. Her motto has
always been” where there is turmoil there is opportunity”.

She was born in San Juan Puerto Rico to business woman Elba Gonzales and
engineer Juan Cox…yes her maiden name is Cox as well as her married name. She
attended private primary and secondary  American schools there. Her
college years where at the University of Puerto Rico where she majored in
English/Education and Business. She also attended the University Complutense in Madrid
Spain  were she did graduate work in Business Administration andTourism.

Her first job right out of college was a Director of Marketing for The
Tourism Department for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. She managed
several national marketing offices on the mainland as well as the main office
in San Juan. The next year she married Donald Cox and moved to Texas to work
for American Airlines in their International Department - Tariff and Passenger
Service in Texas.. After an exciting and intense career at American Airlines her husband Donald made a career move and Elba leaves the corporate  world to become a corporate wife. Her
husband’s career took her to move domestically, (to Arizona were she got her
first real estate license), as well as international assigments in Southeast Asia. As a result of these
exciting experiences she began  acquiring an eclectic inventory of collectables
for her dream store, Yesteryears Alley, which she opened in 1990 in north
Texas. Her entrepreneur lifestyle had several interruptions, including the
longest of three and half years living in throughout Asia. She
reopened Yesteryears Alley Antiques and Collectable in Colleyville, Texas and
then sold it when  relocating to Oregon due to Donald's career. The move to the
Pacific NW prompted Elba to reignite her profession as a Real Estate Broker that she had started in several years ago in Arizona and open her dream Boutique Brokerage firm: EcoPro Realty Group.

She is passionate about
everything she cares for specially the environment therefore creating EcoPro
Realty Group, The Sustainable Real Estate Choice in Real Estate.  Elba joined forces with the movement of
professionals pushing the real estate market toward energy-efficient,
sustainable, and health conscious features in homes and buildings. Today, EcoPro
Realty Group with offices in Lake Oswego, OR is the Premier Boutique
Pacific NW “Green” Real Estate Firm, in sync with The Sierra Club Green
Homes Program.
